This new cruiser for European tourists is designed to show the beauty of the Mekong River and the country through which it flows. For this reason, we designed the interior of this 56m long and four-deck ship in a modern style. It is based on the heritage of the Far East architecture.
The selected textures, materials, and geometry are characteristic of this area. The entire interior is designed as a frame for nature through which it is cruising. Our idea was that the interior should complement nature and not draw attention away from the natural beauty of the landscape.
The entrance hall with a reception desk extends on two levels. It welcomes guests with its decorative greenery and interesting, symmetrical staircases.
The upper deck is open and offers various facilities to guests: swimming pool, bar, lounge area, meeting tables, and sunbathing area.
All guest cabins are designed in the same style. There are lots of dark wood, rattan, walls with beige texture, and blue and red details. Special attention is dedicated to the functionality of the rooms. That means there is enough storage space for suitcases and places for charging electrical units.
In the bow part of the vessel, there are a cafe and a restaurant. Guests of the cruiser can choose if they want to sit alone or hang out with others. There is also a private sectioned off area to enjoy the chef’s special menu if desired. Both spaces are designed to be easily adapted to various purposes as well as evening programs provided by the ship’s crew.
There are a massage center and a gym on the stern part of the lower deck as well.
The interior design was done in cooperation with Vahali Shipyard, a well-known manufacturer of river cruisers.
